Laboratory Technician (Laborant)

We’re looking for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic R&D team for a 12-month maternity cover, with potential for permanent employment. The successful candidate will be a committed and skilled technician with a passion for cell-based techniques and flow cytometry to support our ongoing projects in immunology and cellular biology.
Immudex is a company providing solutions for antigen-specific cellular immune monitoring to enable researchers and clinicians to understand cellular immunity and develop improved immunotherapies and diagnostics.
Key responsibilities
- Cultivation and maintenance of cell cultures from both primary cells and cell lines under sterile conditions
- Conduct flow cytometry assays, including sample preparation and instrument operation
- Work with bead-based cell isolation techniques
- Ensure accurate documentation of work in electronic lab notebook
- Participate in the daily operations of the laboratory, including ordering supplies and restocking laboratory items
- Updating databases, including freezer inventories and laboratory records
Qualifications
Our preferred candidates have the following professional and personal qualifications:
- Trained technician or equal qualification with minimum 2 years of experience
- Thorough experience with cell culture techniques
- Hands-on with flow cytometry is preferred
- Experience with ELISA and SDS-PAGE will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Work in a structured manner and manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing track
- Driven and curious individual with a pro-active mindset
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Hold a Danish work permit
